Jewel Court Stables is now taking reservations for Holiday Horse Camp. The children who attend our camp are exposed to the world of hunter/jumper show horses. The children ride daily, learn proper horse care and stable management, and have demostrations from horse professionals.Our camp is formatted around the 4H and USPC programs which include equine and nature projects, a varity of arts-n-crafts, paint the pony,and much more.

Any child may enroll in camp reguardless of riding experience. We do require that each new camper completes two 1/2 hour private lessons prior to camp start date. This will give our instructors the opportunity to meet the new students and teach the basics required to ride safely on there own, and evalute their level of riding.

Camp Activities Include:

Feeding, haying and Turn out

Grooming and Bathing

Clipping, wrapping and bandaging

Lessons or trail riding each day (1 hr group lesson)

Stable management and Horsemanship

Arts and Crafts

Horse Identification

Equine Anatomy

Gymkhana

What you need to bring:

Please bring a bag lunch and closed toed shoes or boots for riding.
